    Friday 15th November 2024

    This week, Year 6 went to PGL at Windmill Hill. The children participated in 3 days of adventurous activities! This included rock climbing, survival skills, Aeroball, Jacob’s ladder and many more! We are very proud of year 6 for their bravery and overcoming their fears! Well done!

    For Black History Month, year 6 have been learning about the life of Mary Prince.  On a post-it note, each child wrote a statement about what the word ‘Freedom’ means to them.  We then looked at the features of poetry before writing a short poem about Freedom.

    This week, year 6 had their reading for pleasure lesson in the school library. Children were able to pick from a variety of books to read whilst finding a comfortable spot to enjoy their reading!
