This week in Reception we have started growing Sunflowers. They have spoken about the process of growing flowers. This is their time to put their plan into action. With a little care and attention, soon they will have fully grown sunflowers

Reception have been getting the classroom ready for our next topic which is Growth.  They have been decorating the front cover of The Tiny Seed and turning it into a giant flower.  We hope that you have a happy Easter.

In Science Week, children in Reception have been working with year 4 on making a paper Aeroplane. Amazing.

This week in Reception children have been in Forest School looking at the wildlife. They found ladybirds, snails, spider, worms . They even saw a Mummy Fox

This week in Reception, we have been reading Mr Gumpy's Outing.  We have been making up our own outing, talking about where we will go and how we will get there.  In PE, children have been pretending to be on Mr Gumpy's boat trying our best not to end up in the water.

This week Reception had a fun week! The children looked at 'short' and 'long' in Maths and our new book "Mr Gumpy's Outing" in Literacy. The children enjoyed playing on the small world table with masks of characters from the book along with a farmyard...
