Odd Socks Day & Anti-Bullying Week

STJ is a sea of odd socks!

A big thank you to everyone who came to school wearing odd socks today.  As well as participating in different activities, the children have been learning dance moves in class this week to Andy and Odd Socks Choose Respect song, in preparation for Rainbow Assembly!  A link to the song can be found here.

This year, Odd Socks Day (to celebrate our differences which makes us unique) fits in with Anti-Bullying Week.  Children are always encouraged to report bullying at school to a trusted member of school staff, whether the bullying takes place face-to-face or online.

More information about bullying for parents and carers can be found in the attachment below.  Please do have a read as there are some helpful tips and activities that you can do at home as a family to help get across the important message to “Show Respect.”
