This week, Year 5 have started a project on writing a blog on South America. We carried out lots of research and then worked in partners to write the introduction to our blog on chromebooks.

Our first topic to write about was the Amazon Rainforest and we found out how big it is!  We also loved learning about all the animals you can find in the Amazon rainforest.

Fun fact: There are over 1,300 species of birds living in the Amazon.
