At St Joseph's, we are fortunate to have a working kitchen on site.

Hot meals are provided every day by Chartwells, with a three-week rotating menu.  

For the academic year 2024-2025, school meals will be free for all children from Reception to Year 6.

There is an option for children to have a packed lunch.  Children who have a packed lunch should bring it in a lunch box, clearly marked with their name.  Cans, fizzy drinks and glass bottles are not allowed for safety reasons.  We ask you to co-operate by providing a healthy packed lunch for your child which must not include sweets or chocolates.  Food containing nuts is not allowed as we have many children with nut allergies.

To avoid food waste, food is ordered and cooked based on the number of children opting for a school meal.  Because of this, changing from packed lunch to school meals, or vice versa, should be done at the end of a half term.  Please email the office to inform them of your wish to change, and they will amend your child's record accordingly, ready for after the break.
