Year 4 is turned into an art studio
Three new members of Year 4
Today, Year 4 was turned into an art studio.
In preparation for the Greenwich Lantern Parade, taking place on Wednesday, Arty Party came along and made 2 life-sized polar bears and a snow queen, that Year 4 will carry during the parade. The theme of the parade this year is The Land of Narnia.
A multitude of materials were used to make these structures, from bamboo and willow sticks for the frame, with cling film and tissue paper to cover the frame, making it look realistic. They used at least 10 battery-powered lights for each lantern, which will be switched on as we parade with other schools around West Greenwich.
