This week we started our new topic in P.E. We were learning about gymnastics and worked in pairs to create three counterbalanced moves. We then performed them for our class.
This week in R.E. we have started our topic of Advent. We did some drama and acted out what we might do in preparation for Christmas and what we could do as we wait in hope. We came up with some fantastic ideas like going to mass, praying and spending time with family.
This week, the children have been finalising their catching games. We managed to complete our game, allowing the sprite to catch an object and give us a score! We had so much fun and spent time playing our game.

This week we have been planning a catching game in computing. Our aim is to have a sprite that will catch a falling object and give us a point. We had to plan what we will create before making it on scratch.
This week, in Year 5, we have been looking into the book Beowulf. We were inspired to create a character description of a mythical creature that we created. We had fun being imaginative and next week we will develop our writing further.
Today in Year 5 we were learning about children's rights. We discussed and understood the importance of having the freedom of thought, expression and the right to education. We then created a poster and drew pictures which we will display in the classroom.
