Mr Ferreira, our Premises Manager has been a very busy bee this week making our outdoor space look amazing!  We had two deliveries of natural wood chip, which were piled high in the school car park.  It has taken many wheelbarrow trips to the forest school and  the area under our apple trees.  He'd also considered the Key Stage 2 playground, where he has created a quiet space around a tree using the wood chip and some logs.

It has been great to see the transformation of our grounds.  We do live in a wonderful area with Greenwich Park only a walk away, but it is fantastic to have this space within the school, where children can easily access and spend time away from the concrete jungle, marvelling at the wonders of nature that is literally, right on our doorstep.
