Today, the St Joseph's community took part in a Remembrance for Peace Assembly which included information about why we celebrate Remembrance Day with poppies, a brief account of Armistice Day together with prayers and a beautifully observed two-minute silence. The children showed great respect and understanding regarding Remembrance Day. This was Reception's very first assembly, and they were wonderfully behaved and focussed.
